Business Valuation

The only true measure of a value of a company small or big is what a buyer is prepared to pay for it in the open market. However, there are a number of occasions where a reliable opinion of value is required based on an informed assessment of the available information, an in-depth knowledge of the sector in which the business operates and the application of relevant valuation methodologies. A valuation may be required for guidance to board members on commercial transactions or other strategic decisions; regulatory or fiscal reasons e.g. in share transfers; and in providing independent measures of value in support to a litigation or dispute.

Our team of valuation experts includes individuals with practical commercial experience in negotiating valuations for the purpose of raising finance, making acquisitions and disposals, as well as individuals with extensive experience in providing the detailed reports that are likely to be required.
